Bacardí Carta Blanca was used in the first Mojito cocktail, recorded in Pedro Chicote’s book "La Ley Mojada" from 1930.
Bacardí Carta Blanca White Rum is expertly blended using American white oak barrels and a secret blend of charcoals.

Angostura® 1824 is, above all, is an expression of our rich heritage. It was created to celebrate the founding of the House of Angostura®, by Johann G.B. Seigert almost 200 years ago and embodies traditions and expertise developed over the lifetime of the company. Exquisitely smooth and delightfully aromatic, Angostura® 1824 is blended from the finest mature rums, hand-picked by our Master Blender from selected casks. It is aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels and then skilfully hand blended and re-casked. Hand-drawn, filtered and bottled, it is offered in very limited supply.
Colour: dark gold with nuances of amber
Nose: a well-balanced rum of aged wood notes with a rich bouquet of bananas and dried fruits. Top notes of caramel and toasted vanilla
Taste: well-rounded flavour of spices, burnt sugar and oak on the palate with subtle notes of dried raisins and vanilla
Finish: medium bodied offering a smooth finish with a lingering aftertaste of treacle and tobacco

BACARDÍ Gold Rum is hand blended, charcoal filtered and aged for two years in American white oak barrels. Angostura® 1787 is a super premium 15 year-old rum, backed by the House of Angostura’s more than 130 years of expertise in the art of rum making. These rums are aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels for a minimum of fifteen years. This exquisite sipping rum commemorates the establishment of the first sugar mill at the famous Lapeyrouse sugar plantation in Trinidad, in 1787. Celebrate this exquisite sipping rum neat or on the rocks.
