Clarendelle  Bordeaux Rose : Clarendelle Rosé is inspired by the “clairet” of times past. This top-end, subtle, and delicate wine is a well-balanced and elegant blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.

Alcohol by Volume: 12.5%

Tasting notes

A rainy winter and spring enabled the soil to store up significant water reserves. Fortunately, the humid weather did not upset flowering. Summertime marked the arrival of hot days and cool nights, which dried out the soil, kept the vines healthy, and provided ideal sun exposure conducive to producing perfectly ripe grapes until the harvest. Our selected rosé wines come from dedicated plots, picked in early September. The wines feature very good balance between sugar and acidity and an intrinsic fruitiness due to the cool evening temperatures in August.

Clarendelle Bordeaux Rouge : Clarendelle Rouge is a wine that exhibits more balance and elegance than power. Thanks to a skilful blend of three traditional Bordeaux grape varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc), this is a wine of character with a subtle structure. Making the most of the complementary qualities of each variety, oenologists from Domaine Clarence Dillon and the team from Clarence Dillon Wines produce very well-balanced wine.

Alcohol by Volume: 13%

Tasting notes

A deep colour and a soft bouquet of liquorice and blackcurrant. The wine has violet and slightly toasty nuances on the palate. The texture is velvety and the flavour altogether powerful and elegant. There is a wonderful refined balance between high-quality tannin, concentration, tension, and freshness. A lovely vintage for Clarendelle!
